Night shift (21:00-06:00) ### Contract Type Permanent (Full-Time) Ready to lead from the front? We're looking for a motivated First Line Manager to join our DHL Tyre Contract in Daventry. You'll inspire and develop operational teams, drive performance, and ensure safe, efficient delivery in a fast-paced logistics environment. If you're a strong people leader with a passion for operational excellence, this is your opportunity to make an impact. ✅ WHAT YOU'LL DO Supervise day-to-day performance, including achievement of agreed customer KPIs and other internal KPIs (eg. safety, operational, employee related etc) Ensuring staff are trained to the correct standard to perform duties as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP`s) whilst maintaining records so that training needs are observed and actioned - Deliver team member performance reviews (1-2-1's), development and/or succession planning, providing coaching as appropriate - Support and contribute towards briefing activities such as performance management appraisals, comms zone briefs, PD boards, disciplinaries and grievances, investigations, informal / formal conversations - Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures - Handle operational issues, escalations, and incident resolution To support and get involved with day to day operations needs, such as manual handling of tyres ✅ THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO Previous people management experience (First Line Manager/Shift Manager/Team Leader) is essential Experience within the Tyre industry would be desirable Holds a valid MHE License (Forklift - Counterbalance/Reach) would be advantageous - Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills Good analytical and numerical skills IT literate - WMS and Microsoft packages ✅ WHY JOIN US?
