Over the last 10 years, 74 airports in 2014 to over 160 by 2025. The government aims to increase the total number of airports to 350-400 by 2047 to support domestic travel. The overall India aerospace and defense market is projected to grow from $27.1 billion in 2024 to $54.4 billion by 2033, with a CAGR of approximately 7%.World’s third largest domestic aviation market. Only increasing with the growing middle class and the demand for increased air travel We see the strategic investments from GE Aerospace, Safran, Airbus & Boeing. We see this already in the GE India business and the GP margin is at €1.01/kg as of May 26 YTD. ### Below mentioned is the description of the job Operational: Support local operations teams to ship Aerospace parts in accordance with our Global SOPsKey contact for Aerospace across India and the global A&A network. KPI dashboard management and performance reviews > responsible for the OTP & OQP. Responsible for leading the Investigation requests raised by customer through DHL AeroCockpit. Responsible for coordinating central mapping and data in DHL AeroCockpit. Reviews carriers with ACC/PCM teams & point of contact for carrier discussions regarding A&A. A&A Tender support. ### Sales Support Engages with Sales for customers meetings to provide technical solutions support Support on QBR/MBRs ### Main Accountabilities Driving volume growth in close coordination with Sector Head A & A., driving the focus on trade lanes and countries as per Trade Lane plan OCC Overseeing all large tenders running through the Regional/Country OCC as part of the global RFQ process and ensure efficient execution with all stakeholders - Drives automation within the Tender management set-up Spearheads RFQ analytics to improve win ratios Simplify country Lead RFQ’s to increase efficiency - Drives STP on tender business Senior commercial product engagement Driving senior commercial product engagement in large tenders during the pre-RFQ period through Gatekeepers Focal point for regional product development BC Segment Functionally responsible for the Country RDM structure - Drives articulation and simplification of local value proposition development as relevant from a product and/or trade perspective - Drives development and execution of local trade lane plans via RDM’s, according to focus Trade lanes defined by Trade Management - Drives target customer definition from a product and/or trade perspective together with Trade Management and M & S Drive STP with countries within the BC segment - Coordinates and aligns the commercial approach together with M&S Regional focal point for M&S Ensures process alignment together with M&S within the region - Guides the regional organization in terms of pricing strategy Sponsors various large customers People Management The role is responsible for aligning and setting a clear direction for growth in the A & A sector. This includes all sales channels – CSI/MNC/SBC, BC, and digital. Driving the product commercial organization around OCC and RDM structures Divisional Experience: Good understanding of the global forwarding industry and the DGF business models. Worked previously with the required expertise of A & A. ### Functional Experience Strategic but action-oriented mindset which contributes to business Clear result orientation and commercial mindset - Strong commercial sense and motivation to serve the customer Good negotiator, always having the aspired goal in mind Needs to be able to manage functional teams virtually - Excellent networking abilities and impeccable interpersonal approach Able to lead larger internal and external meetings Feels comfortable in a corporate environment Likes to make decisions with big impact to the network Readiness to coach people and likes to work across cultures Geographical Experience: Experience in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans, in a large and dynamic environment. ### Education / Qualification / Certification Bachelor’s degree. MBA or other PG Operations degree preferred. Excellent communication skills. Min. 8-10 years of experience in the AFR forwarding industry. Used to work in a multinational environment and in a large corporation. Seasoned leader with successful track record.
