As a First Line Manager at our Milton Keynes Digital Centre Multi-User site, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, driving performance, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy empowering others to succeed, we'd love to hear from you. ✅ A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area - Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Control Tower team (various different contract) - Track real-time performance using dashboards and reporting tools- Smart Prod - Deliver team member performance reviews (1-2-1's), development and/or succession planning, providing coaching as appropriate - Support and contribute towards briefing activities such as performance management appraisals, comms zone briefs, PD boards, disciplinaries and grievances, informal / formal conversations - Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures - Handle operational issues, escalations, and incident resolution - Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to management ✅ THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO Previous people management experience (First Line Manager/Shift Manager/Team Leader) is essential Experience with Smart Analytics and/or SmartProd would be a significant advantageous - Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and working with formulas - Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills Good analytical and numerical skills IT literate - WMS and Microsoft packages ✅ WHY JOIN US?
