This is an excellent opportunity for a transport professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence, people leadership, and continuous improvement. ✅ WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead and manage the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, legally, and on time - Ensure compliance with all transport legislation, including Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Operator Licence requirements - Manage, motivate, and develop a team of drivers, managers and transport planners - Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as service levels, vehicle utilisation, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency - Conduct investigations relating to accidents, incidents, and compliance breaches, implementing corrective actions where required - Oversee fleet management activities, including maintenance scheduling, vehicle availability, and defect reporting processes - Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure service excellence - Drive a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement across the transport operation - Manage transport budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining service standards ✅ WHAT YOU'LL BRING Hold an International CPC Qualification (essential) Previous experience in a Transport Manager or Transport Operations Management role - Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance requirements - Proven leadership experience within a transport, logistics, or distribution environment - Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills - Ability to analyse operational data and implement improvements - Strong stakeholder management and customer service focus - Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office applications ✅ WHY JOIN US?
