Lead project planning, including route studies, feasibility assessments, transport engineering, and risk mitigation strategies. Approve method statements, lifting plans, and HSSE documentation prepared by operational teams. Ensure compliance with technical requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations. Monitor critical project milestones and intervene proactively to resolve operational bottlenecks. - Commercial & Financial Management Lead project budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting. Review and approve quotations, vendor selections, and major procurement decisions. Ensure accurate billing, margin protection, and timely financial closure of projects. Support commercial teams in tender preparation, solution design, and customer presentations. - Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the senior point of contact for key project clients, EPCs, OEMs, and strategic partners. Conduct project review meetings, performance evaluations, and post‑project debriefs. Manage escalations, negotiate solutions, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs. Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with chartering, engineering, HSSE, finance, and country operations teams. - Vendor & Carrier Management Oversee relationships with heavy‑lift carriers, vessel owners, transport engineering firms, and specialized subcontractors. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and safety requirements. Approve major subcontracting decisions and negotiate key commercial terms. - Governance, Compliance & Risk Control Ensure all project activities comply with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and HSSE standards. Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation plans for high‑risk cargo movements. Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks. - Team Leadership & Development Supervise and mentor Industrial Projects Specialists, coordinators, and field teams. Build capability in heavy‑lift logistics, project planning, and operational excellence. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. ### Required Competencies Deep expertise in multimodal project logistics, heavy‑lift operations, and chartering. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project P&L. Advanced knowledge of Incoterms, HSSE frameworks, and transport engineering principles. Proficiency with logistics ERP systems (SAP, CargoWise, or similar). Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
