Deutsche Bank is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to building, maintaining, and automating our cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills, work with cutting-edge technologies, and be part of a team that drives innovation in a global financial institution. ### Responsibilities Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of scalable and secure infrastructure components on GCP. Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform to manage cloud resources. Support the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows for efficient software delivery. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable application releases. Help automate repetitive operational tasks to improve system efficiency and reliability. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployments. Adhere to and learn about security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues. ### Skills Foundational understanding of cloud concepts and services, with a strong interest in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Basic familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles; exposure to Terraform is a significant plus. Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git/GitHub. Exposure to CI/CD concepts; familiarity with GitHub Workflows is a bonus. Basic scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, JavaScript). Awareness of containerization technologies like Docker. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
