Our On-Site Engineers (OSEs) play a critical role in supporting AI Server systems, providing hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid recovery of Dell hardware and infrastructure solutions at customer locations. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, OSEs help ensure system uptime, reliability, and a high standard of service. ### What you’ll achieve As an On-Site Service Engineer, you will provide on-site technical expertise to maintain system availability, troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, and software issues, and drive rapid recovery during critical outages. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable support, preventive maintenance, and continuous service improvements. Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as an Onsite Service Engineer on our team in Auckland. ## Responsibilities You will: Provide on-site technical support for AI Data Center Infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and minimal downtime. Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Perform corrective maintenance on AI Servers, including part replacements, firmware upgrades, system health checks, and Proactive Field Replacements (PFRs). Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to resolve critical issues and validate firmware updates. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance service efficiency and system reliability. Provide technical guidance and documentation while serving as a trusted advisor on Dell AI and data center infrastructure.
