This role is responsible for administration, troubleshooting, integration, and lifecycle support of communications platforms and endpoints in a secure environment. The ideal candidate brings strong UC fundamentals, customer-facing problem solving, and the ability to maintain dependable collaboration services under mission requirements. Key responsibilities - Administer and support voice, telephony, conferencing, or collaboration platforms - Troubleshoot service issues involving call quality, endpoints, connectivity, or platform configuration - Support implementation, upgrades, and integration of communications solutions - Maintain documentation, diagrams, operating procedures, and support records - Coordinate with network, systems, and field teams on platform dependencies and changes - Support user issues, service requests, and operational continuity activities - Contribute to testing, validation, and service improvement efforts - Help ensure secure, stable, and supportable communications capabilities - Provide reports to relevant stakeholders and participate in leadership level design and engineering decisions Required qualifications - Experience supporting unified communications, VoIP, telephony, or collaboration environments - Strong troubleshooting and customer-support skills - Familiarity with endpoint integration, platform administration, and service support processes - Understanding of network and QoS concepts related to voice and collaboration services - Ability to work onsite in a secure environment - Experience with video, AV, conferencing, or call-management environments - Familiarity with SIP, secure voice, or enterprise communications architectures - 15+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree - Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program. Candidates must be able to lift up to 25lbs. Preferred qualifications - Experience with Cisco UC or similar platforms - Experience in government or classified environments - Lead experience guiding standards, design choices, or junior engineers Work environment / program context This role supports communications capabilities that users depend on every day.
