## Job description

### Role Summary

Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise voice and unified communications platforms, ensuring high availability, regulatory compliance, and optimal performance across the organisation.

### Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise voice platforms (e.g., Cisco CUCM, Teams Direct Routing, SBCs)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory recording requirements (e.g., financial services mandates)
- Manage and optimise call routing, dial plans, and telephony integrations
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with security, network, and infrastructure teams on system hardening
- Lead or support migrations (e.g., CUCM to cloud/Teams transformations)
- Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and audit-ready artifacts
- Engage vendors and manage third-party service providers
- Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvements

### Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Cisco CUCM, Voice Gateways, and SIP protocols
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and SBC (e.g., AudioCodes) Understanding of network concepts (QoS, NAT, firewall traversal for voice/video) Experience with compliance recording solutions (e.g., NICE, Verint)
- Familiarity with enterprise ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Cisco certifications (CCNP Collaboration or equivalent) Experience in financial services or regulated industries Exposure to cloud voice (Azure, Webex, Zoom)
- Knowledge of automation/scripting for operational efficiency
- Strong stakeholder management Problem-solving mindset Attention to detail (especially for audit/compliance)
