In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Job Objective Lead and manage the Loan Drawdown Team to ensure timely, accurate and efficient delivery of loan processing and servicing activities, while maintaining strong operational controls, compliance with established procedures, bank policies, regulatory requirements and agreed service standards. ### Job Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day Corporate Loans Operations activities, including loan drawdown, disbursement, repayment, rollover, prepayment, loan maintenance and servicing. Ensure loan transactions are processed in accordance with approved facility terms, operating procedures, Delegation of Authority, service standards and applicable cut-off times. Supervise the creation, amendment and maintenance of loan records in relevant systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness and proper documentation. Review and approve work performed by team members to ensure correctness, quality and adherence to operational controls. Manage loan servicing activities, including fee handling, or document follow-up, settlement amount preparation and repayment processing. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Business Units, Credit, Legal, Technology, Finance, Treasury and other Operations teams, to resolve processing issues and support smooth transaction execution. Handle enquiries, escalations and exceptional cases in a timely and professional manner, and escalate material, outstanding or suspicious matters to senior management where appropriate. Ensure the team complies with bank policies, operational risk standards, data governance requirements and relevant regulatory requirements. Identify process gaps, operational risks and control weaknesses, and recommend improvement actions to enhance productivity, service quality and risk control. Support system enhancements, process re-engineering, digitalisation initiatives, user acceptance testing and implementation of operational changes. Prepare, review and maintain operating procedures, management reports, MIS, reconciliation records and other required documentation. Lead, coach and develop team members by providing guidance, performance feedback, cross-training and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capability and resilience. ### Job Requirements Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in banking operations, preferably in corporate loans, loan servicing, loan drawdown or related credit operations. Proven experience in supervising or leading an operations team, with the ability to coach staff, manage workload and drive performance. Sound knowledge of loan products, loan lifecycle processing, operational controls, banking systems and regulatory requirements relevant to loan operations. Strong risk awareness, attention to detail and ability to identify, escalate and resolve operational issues promptly. Good understanding of process improvement, digitalisation, system enhancement and user acceptance testing is preferred. Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and analytical skills. Customer service oriented, self-motivated, accountable and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Degree holder or post-secondary education with relevant banking operations experience.
