## Job description

Business Function Group Technology enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Tech, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels

### Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical lead to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade digital solutions supporting Global Financial Markets business. The role focuses on full stack application development, system integration, API enablement, cloud-native technologies, and modern software engineering practices.

### Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of application developers to design, build, and deploy robust enterprise-grade applications. Drive the technical roadmap, system architecture, and design patterns to ensure scalability, security, and high performance. Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to organizational coding standards, security guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.

### Requirements

Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns. Ability to review solution design, architecture and source code at a detailed technical level. Experience working with cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies, and DevSecOps practices. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Strong hands-on technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.

Hands-on experience with: Java, Spring Boot,Spring Cloud, REST APIs Kafka / Event Streaming Platforms SQL and NoSQL Databases Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins Location: DBS Asia Central Job: Technology Schedule: Regular Employee Status: Full time
