## Job description

### Job Summary

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic Basemine 14x14 to join our Distribution business in (Fort McMurray, AB). Basemine 14x14 We offer sign on bonus, competitive pay and benefits!

### Will make an impact in the following ways
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs engine overhauls unassisted
- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software 14x14 Days and Nights Rotation Located at Basemine Must pass Drug and Alcohol testing

### Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

### Experience

Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Customer service experience

### Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our Company Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
