## Job description

### Job Summary

Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Ocala, FL). We offer sign - on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits!

### Will make an impact in the following ways
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs engine overhauls unassisted
- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software - This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.

### Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

### Experience

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

### Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
