In this role you will operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance. You will make an impact in the following ways: - Follow standard work, quality procedures, and safety requirements. - Operate manual and automated equipment to meet production, quality, and cycle time targets. - Perform inspections, identify non‑conforming material, and escalate issues as needed. - Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and complete basic equipment care. - Work collaboratively with team members and support staff to meet production goals. - Communicate effectively and complete required training. - Identify, report, and address safety and environmental hazards; use required PPE. - Remain flexible and perform additional duties as needed. ### Additional Information - Full Time / 38 hours per week - Overtime as required - Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours - All your Safety equipment / PPE / Uniforms are provided and laundered - Domestic Relocation may be offered for the right candidate - Local Valid Drivers License (Preferred) To be successful in this role, you will need the following: - Any related mechanical work experience - Punctual and reliable - Attention to detail - Previous factory, manufacturing, or related mechanical work experience - Great time management, process driven and ability to prioritise - Team player with initiative and aptitude for learning ### Compensation and Benefits - Competitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salary - Overtime & Loading penalties - Safety equipment / PPE provided - Uniforms provided - Income Protection continuance insurance - Discounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles - Annual remuneration review - Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program - A range of personal and professional benefits - Onsite parking - Employee Assistance Program available to employees - Paid Parental leave (Conditions apply) At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
