## Job description

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join our Field Service team based at our Lae branch. Our team specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across high horsepower mining and industrial applications. _Let Cummins train you to be an engine expert!_ In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Under limited supervision, the individual contributor diagnoses, completes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and moderately complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.
- Deliver a first-class service to our mining customers as a travelling

### Field Service Technician
- Perform breakdown and preventative tasks
- Deliver support for our new Tier 4 HHP engines, the most advanced HHP product on the market following fully Cummins technical training To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel)
- A valid driver’s license
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred

- On call roster when required
- Able to work long hours including overtime when required
- Able to work unsupervised
- Up to 50% domestic travel as required + _You will need a locally valid driving permit_
