Unique opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team based from our Kalgoorlie workshop. In this permanent role with a global engine manufacturer, you will be part of a high-performing team specialising in engine maintenance and repairs across client sites throughout the Goldfields region. This opportunity is available FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster or locally based in Kalgoorlie. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Work on critical mining projects - Fleet maintenance - Fault diagnostics - Engine repairs both major and minor - Work with other major OEM’s such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr etc To be successful in this role you will need the following: - Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards) - Previous field service experience servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM) - Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities - Good communication skills - Ability to work autonomously as well as in a great team environment ### Compensation and Benefits - Competitive salary + additional benefits - Salary continuance insurance - Further training and career development opportunities - Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program - Income Protection continuance insurance - Discounts with select private health insurance - PC software/hardware, and a range of vehicles - Annual remuneration reviews - Safety equipment/PPE and uniforms provided and a range of personal and professional benefits Cummins is an equal opportunity employer. Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred. + ### Licenses/Certifications Locally valid driving permit. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. + ### Experience Basic level field service work experience. Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
