We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in (Gillette, WY). We offer sign on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! ### Will make an impact in the following ways - Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: - Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics - Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality - Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources. - Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level. - Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts. - Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software Will require MSHA certification, rotating day shifts after probation period DOT - A current valid license is required for this role - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations - This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical - 3 years driving experience - This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use -Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age ### Education, Licenses, Certifications Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred). Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution. Locally valid driving permit. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. ### Experience Minimal level of workshop related experience required. Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products. Locally valid driving permit. ### Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
