In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Independently deliver high‑quality troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of high horsepower engine products to ensure reliable and efficient operations. - Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues by consistently applying documented Cummins procedures, policies, and technical standards. - Proactively perform preventative maintenance based on thorough assessment of high horsepower engine systems and components, reducing downtime and future failures. - Coach, guide, and develop less experienced technicians and apprentices by sharing technical knowledge, practical expertise, and best practices. - Contribute to team capability by reviewing repair plans, parts lists, and work approaches, and providing technical input where required. - Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required service and repair documentation, including work records, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality forms. - Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are fit for purpose and properly maintained. - Lead by example in adhering to Mining Health, Safety & Environmental policies and legislation, and actively promote safe working practices within the team.
