We offer $5000 sign on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! ### Will make an impact in the following ways - Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: - Completes complex internal engine repairs - Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls - Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools - Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components - Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation - A current valid CDL is required for this role. - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free of major violations - This role is subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing requirements and on going random drug and alcohol testing - This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical - This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use - Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age ### Education, Licenses, Certifications Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. ### Experience Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred) ### Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
