Apprentice will be required to successfully complete and document specified classes and a minimum quantity of on the job training hours. Learns and understand the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician to join our Distribution business in Edmonton. You will make an impact in the following ways: - Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: - Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics - Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality - Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources. - Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level. - Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts. - Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software ### Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. First Aid / Certification operating Forklift/cranes ### Experience Minimal or no work experience required.
