Y ou will be responsible for approving or declining consumer credit requests with underwriting authority of $100,000 to $1,000,000 or commercial credit requests with underwriting authority of $250,000 to $1,000,000. More than that, this role is about building relationships and providing top-quality service and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind. ### What you’ll do - Approve/decline or make recommendation for alternative financing within established loan authority - Mentor, train and coach bankers - Assist in training and mentoring ### Underwriter I’s - Act as the department liaison Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes What you’ll need: Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent experience - 2+ years of experience in lending, preferably within underwriting - Proven record of success in an underwriting environment - Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements and leverage ratios - Ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate cash flow, capital and collateral adequacy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft computer applications Our Benefits: At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
