Plant Process Control Engineer – Waalwijk Jij houdt onze productie veilig en slim – van oplossing tot verbetering Ben jij de technische spil die onze productieprocessen naar een hoger niveau tilt? Bij Covestro in Waalwijk werken we elke dag aan veilige, efficiënte en toekomstbestendige productieprocessen. We zoeken een gedreven Plant Process Control Engineer die niet alleen technische diepgang heeft, maar ook mensen weet te verbinden en te inspireren. Wat ga je doen? Als Plant Process Control Engineer zorg jij voor de optimale beschikbaarheid en prestaties van alle procesbesturingssystemen – van PLC en andere stand- alone systemen tot aan DCS. Je werkt binnen de Improve-afdeling, waar continue verbetering van processen en installaties centraal staat. Samen met een team van technologen pak je zowel korte termijn problemen aan als de middellange termijnstrategie. Kennisdelen en samenwerken zijn daarbij vanzelfsprekend, ook binnen het organisatie brede netwerk van process control professionals bij Covestro. ### Concreet betekent dit dat je Procesbesturing bewaakt en verbetert – je analyseert problemen, voert verbeteracties door en verwerkt meldingen en suggesties van medewerkers; Kleine projecten en modificaties initieert, definieert, uitvoert en evalueert – zowel als engineer als projectleider; Management adviseert over investeringen en de levenscyclus van procesbesturingssystemen; Haalbaarheidsstudies uitvoert – van probleemdefiniëring tot optieverkenning en basisscoping; Inbedrijfstelling van projecten begeleidt, inclusief validatie, veiligheidsinspecties, training van medewerkers en het opstellen van procedures; Deelneemt aan HAZOP-studies en proces veiligheidsanalyses (zoals SIL-studies, Functional Safety en instrumentatie-reviews); Naleving borgt van relevante wet- en regelgeving op het gebied van Proces automatisering en elektronica, SHE- en kwaliteitseisen. HBO- of WO-diploma met een elektrotechnische richting Minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring in een industriële omgeving Je bent een verbinder – je brengt mensen samen en communiceert effectief op alle niveaus binnen de organisatie Vermogen om complexiteit te overzien en te managen Analytisch sterk, oplossingsgericht en resultaat gedreven Vloeiend in zowel Nederlands als Engels Wat bieden wij?
