Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player, who would like to join our team Operations Accounting Manager- Store Operational Accounting Team You will be responsible for: Establish, maintain, and govern accounting principles for station operational activities across all business units. Ensure that franchise accounting is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies, accounting standards, and contractual requirements. Define and ensure consistent application of accounting treatment for operational transactions, including complex or non-standard scenarios. Coordinate and oversee month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in the correct accounting periods. Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations related to station and franchise operations, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Securing process quality, standardization and automation, as well as participation in process standardization and efficiency projects. Provide leadership, create and support an environment of trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort. Facilitate problem solving and collaboration. Assure that the team members have the necessary support and training to effectively participate on the team. Prepare and lead communication with business units for all GL accounts, Dashboard questions, etc. Escalate issues with concerned parties. You have the following qualification, skills and experience: University degree or higher education in economics or finance field - Strong background in accounting or audit field, preferably within an international work environment (5+ years) - Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor - Solid knowledge of IFRS Excellent communication and leadership skills Organizational and time-management skills Decision-making skills - Knowledge of performance metrics Necessary technical skills to understand how to utilize tools and templates optimally in these processes Self-driven, pro-active, high quality focus in deliverables and deadlines - Proficient in English (both verbal and written) to communicate with colleagues in Europe. ### What you can expect at Circle K For 6 years in a row, Circle K Business Centre has been awarded 1st place in the ‘CV-Online TOP Employer – International Business Services category.’ Monthly salary: starting from 3300 EUR gross; Covered tariff plan for your mobile phone; Health insurance; Employee discounts in our stores; Global and fast-paced work environment; And more!
