Supports quality assurance through error-proofing verification, adherence to established procedures and systems, and communication of quality issues to production teams. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Execute tire inspection to ensure product quality level compliance with Continental Tire WW standards - Must be able to pass titmus eye exam with/without correction and color blindness to perform tasks - Utilize, refer to, and perform tasks using Continental Tire WW semi-product off-standard standards catalogue and QMS standards (ISO/TS16949, CCC, etc.) - Inspect semi-products from preparation to curing according to control plans - Take the necessary actions in case of non-conformities (inform relevant production personnel, stop the next process from using the off-standard material, blocking of semi-products and items produced with off-standard material) - Apply non-conformance procedure and complete over-inspection checklists - Enter data into the electronic SPC data collection system where applicable and Knowledge of CGMS system and produce daily report for quality engineers Weigh and classify waste in waste collection area and enter/collect data - Complete error proofing verification Be self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure. Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures. Other duties as assigned. ### NOTE May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed. ## Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE High school diploma or equivalent One or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment Previous or current certification in either tire build/cold prep/quality department (operator, setup, etc.) Must be willing to work selected shift for this position This role is an internal only position, external applicants will not be considered for this role Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
