[Apply on Commerzbank’s careers site →](https://jobs.commerzbank.com/index.php?ac=jobad&id=61585) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Commerzbank](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/commerzbank/) / Credit Risk Officer ## Job description Your tasks Ensure (i) independent and competent credit risk analyses and assessments (forward looking analysis, industry expertise and peer comparison); (ii) to support the front office in structuring transactions in a risk-adequate manner and (iii) ongoing risk monitoring; Where possible produce a one-step credit processing for the borrowing entity incl. the relevant BeNeLux,German and other borrowers (i.e. acts as group CO). Decide on ratings and possible risk mitigants (i.e. collateral); Take credit decisions within held Delegated Authority and recommend proposals to higher approval authorities ensuring presentations are of the required high standard; Develop and actively maintain Sector/Regional knowledge for the specific sectors/regions covered within the team; Monitor the portfolio regarding rating actuality and distinctive risk feat - ures as well as to report on risk relevant findings; Be responsible together with the relationship manager for getting the necessary client information and research, potentially with direct client contact to take into account the overall risk profile (amount/tenor/rating) to match the depth of analysis required; Consider and comment on the risk/return profile of the exposure managed/approved.
