Develop and maintain embedded firmware for STMicroelectronics (ST) microcontrollers using C++. Create graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and test tools using Python or other programming languages to support firmware validation and debugging. Utilize laboratory equipment, including logic analyzers and oscilloscopes, to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and firmware issues. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support circuit design, integration, and system-level testing. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of firmware architecture, code development, test procedures, and validation results. ### Education & Experience MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical fields. 5 years of related experience is preferred Skills Solid foundation in digital circuit design, Deep understanding of MCUs. Ability to work with little supervision and to manage assigned tasks effectively. Ability to learn and apply new technologies and tools to develop innovative solutions. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Working Conditions Good office working conditions. Occasionally required to work in a Class 10000 clean-room environment, wearing smock with mask and gloves Physical Requirements Able to move light equipment and tooling ( Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
