In addition, the Company wholly-owns the Silvertip polymetallic critical minerals exploration project in British Columbia. If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today. ### Geological Technician - Temporary Contract The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking a Geological Technician (Temporary) to work in a camp-based environment rotating on a two week in/two week out shift rotation. ### Responsibilities Complete geotechnical logging of oriented diamond drill core; Maintain core logging data in database; Sample and cut diamond drill core (fit-tested respirator required); Track and catalogue drill core and samples; Manage core sample shipments; Perform pre-operational checks, operate equipment, and perform all job functions according to Safe Operating Procedures; Assist geologists as required. ### Required Qualifications & Skills Fundamental geologic knowledge considered an asset; Post-Secondary Education in geosciences considered an asset; Core logging and cutting experience considered an asset; Experience working with oriented core considered an asset; Valid driver's license; Able to lift core boxes weighing up to 60 pounds; Physically fit to perform the duties of the position; Training provided. ### Additional Information Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp. Eligible for monthly bonus. Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.
