The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for ensuring tooling meets process expectations. The ideal candidate will have good manual dexterity, be detail-oriented and self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package with career advancement opportunities. ### Summary of Responsibilities Compute dimensions and tolerances and set up machine tools. Position, secure, measure and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining. Fit and assemble or disassemble parts using hand tools and test completed tools, dies, jigs or fixtures for proper operation - Work directly with all manufacturing groups ensuring tooling meets process expectations - Work directly with tooling suppliers in build to print, or design and build situations to ensure tools meet expectations - Analyze manufacturing and tooling problems and formulate solutions - Make repairs and adjustments as needed Suggest new methods and processes for quality improvements or cost savings Minimum Qualifications: 5 years of related work experience Trade certification - Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Ability to understand and effectively communicate oral and written instructions - Ability to stand for long periods of time/ lift 23 kg (50 lbs) Able to work Days/Afternoons rotation and required OT Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment Emails regarding next steps will come from Bamboo HR - Please - Ensure to check your junk mail when applying for jobs The pay range for this role is $30.00/hour to $45.00/hour.
