[Apply on Citigroup’s careers site →](https://citi.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/2/job/Getzville-New-York-United-States/Transaction-Service-Representative_261001086) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Citigroup](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/citigroup/) / Transaction Service Representative ## Job description The Transaction Svs Rep 5 is an entry level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to traders, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team.The overall objective of this role is to maintain position records and provide support with processes surrounding securities. ### Responsibilities Provide support for Treasury and Trade services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, etc. Open and amend Letters of Credit (L/Cs), process payments and solve customer issues to ensure efficient daily operations - Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts - Provide support within established trade capture and settlement systems and procedures, under general supervision - Conduct pre-settlement tasks, including analyses and report preparation, and resolve escalated issues that require research - Interpret data and utilize data analysis tools to identify process improvements and/or launch new products/services and technologies Minimize risk by understanding and monitoring errors and suggesting solutions, and ensuring adherence to audit and control policies - Identify policy gaps and make recommendations to support the streamlining of related work processes - Escalate all requests / inquiries / issues / errors in a timely manner Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. ### Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in a related role - Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills - Demonstrates a good knowledge of Bank related systems Schedule: Tuesday- Thursday 12:00pm - 8:30pm Friday- Saturday 3:3opm - 12:00am Education: High School diploma or equivalent ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family Group: Operations - Transaction Services ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family: Transaction Capture Services ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location: Getzville New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $41,660.00 - $54,340.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards. ### Citi offers competitive employee benefits, including medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs.
