This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of accounting professionals while overseeing daily premium accounting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency and exceptional service. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Some departments at our Headquarters offer a hybrid work option that may vary depending on your role and responsibilities. ### Starting pay\ The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $33.65 per hour. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. ### Be ready to\ oversee billing and remittance processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, payment application and reconciliation activities review billing transactions for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established procedures and service level expectations research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment variances, outstanding balances, and complex customer account issues partner with internal and external stakeholders to address billing inquiries and ensure timely issue resolution monitor billing workflows and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end billing activities, ensuring all transactions are processed and reconciled appropriately ensure compliance with departmental controls, audit requirements and company policies related to billing and financial transactions assist with testing, implementation and process enhancements related to billing systems and procedures!*! ### Be equipped with\ strong knowledge of billing, remittance, accounts receivable and reconciliation processes the ability to identify, investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies and account variances experience interpreting financial and operational reports to support billing accuracy and process improvements knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements associated with billing and financial operations strong attention to detail when reviewing account balances, billing transactions, reconciliations and journal entry support documentation Bring education and experience from\: a high school diploma or equivalent (required); a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field (preferred) management, supervisory or team lead experience (preferred) experience researching and resolving billing exceptions, payment discrepancies, and account reconciliation issues experience managing or supporting billing, remittance, accounts receivable or financial operations functions Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
