[Apply on Cigna’s careers site →](https://jobs.thecignagroup.com/us/en/job/CIGNUS26007969EXTERNALENUS/Actuary-Hybrid) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Cigna](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/cigna/) / Actuary- Hybrid ## Job description Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Actuary for the Philadelphia, PA location to analyze data to estimate risk and financial impact for global healthcare insurance company. ### Responsibilities - Develop and maintain actuarial\ models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting. - Support the development of new products, pricing strategies, and profitability. - Perform scenario testing and analysis of risk and opportunities. - Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders in person and in writing. - Monitor experience studies and adjust assumptions based on emerging trends. - Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to support business decisions. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards. - Hybrid work schedule. ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or related field (with a minimum GPA of 3.20) and 2 years of experience in any actuarial role in the healthcare domain. - Must have experience with: analyzing data using Python; - Working with big data and querying data using SQL code; and, - Advanced Excel Functions. - Must be an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
