## Job description

### Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, automation and Finance system enhancements. Partner with Finance teams and key stakeholders across Actuarial, Operations and IT to streamline processes and identify efficiency opportunities. Leverage strong understanding of Finance BAU processes to identify pain points, control gaps and opportunities for automation or simplification. Assess proposed initiatives from a Finance, process, data, control and implementation perspective.

Manage transformation projects from business case development through implementation, testing and change adoption. Act as the key Finance representative in system and automation initiatives, translating Finance requirements into practical solutions. Support continuous improvement across financial reporting, reconciliation, planning and other Finance processes. Coach and upskill Finance teams on new processes, tools and ways of working.

## Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, FP&A or related Finance roles. Life insurance industry experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of Finance processes, operating models, controls and financial reporting. Experience in Finance transformation, process improvement or system implementation projects. Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, SQL and Python is an advantage.

Strong project management, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively across Finance, Actuarial, Operations and IT. Knowledge of IFRS 17 / IFRS 9 is an advantage.
