## Job description

Candidates will be assigned to either underwriting or claims based on your educational background and career goals. As a Property and Liability Insurance Underwriter, you will:
- Assist senior underwriters in business acceptance and review;
- To learn and understand the knowledge of property and liability insurance products, collect and organize relevant business data to support business analysis and decision making;
- Participate in business process optimization and improvement to enhance work efficiency and service quality. As a Marine Insurance Underwriter, you will:
- Marine/logistics insurance business auditing, risk assessment, execution in accordance with company underwriting policy;
- General clerical work and filing of documents;
- Production and analysis of relevant statistics;
- Produce and analyze relevant statistics. As an Insurance Claims Handler, you will:
- Provide advice on making a claim and the processes involved;
- Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim;
- Analyse a claim made by a policymaker to establish whether it satisfies the policy conditions;
- Guide policyholders on how to proceed with the claim;
- Contact service provider from a network of approved professionals;
- Monitor the progress of a claim;
- Ensure fair settlement of a valid claim.
- Hong Kong permanent residents or non-permanent residents but must hold a valid work visa (IANG, Quality Migrants or Dependant, etc.);
- Degree holder in any discipline;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently and under-pressure;
- Good spirit of team work and sense of discipline will be valued;
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
