Job Details Warehouse Operative (Part Time) Location Exeter Work Pattern 16 hours per week Summary of Role We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Exeter on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and customer service. You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while contributing to a safe and organised working environment. ### Responsibilities Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch. Receive and check incoming deliveries against relevant documentation. Safely load and unload vehicles as required. Store products correctly within designated warehouse locations. Carry out stock checks and assist with inventory management activities. Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational targets.. Skills and Knowledge Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Strong organisational skills. Good communication skills. Awareness of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently. ### Experience and Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential. Experience of picking, packing or goods-in/goods-out processes would be beneficial. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Right to work in the UK. Desirable Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems. Previous experience working in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
