You will guide and supportyour team, manage projects, and collaborate with various stakeholders toachieve Operational excellence. This job ispart of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for providing support, preventative maintenance,and repairs of equipment and systems. ### What You’ll Do - Oversee andinspect the work performed by engineering staff. Ensure that work is complete,equipment is fully functional, and client space is in prime working condition. - Review monthlyservice request summaries to identify and addressrecurrent operational problems. - Formulate andimplement a preventative maintenance program to ensure that building machineryand systems meet or exceed their rated life. - Inspectbuilding systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achievesenvironmental conditions prescribed by the client. - Review assignedwork orders. Estimate and materials needed to complete repairs. Maintain an inventoryof adequate supplies and tools and order necessary materials. - Assist teamwith complex repairs, emergencies, and preventative maintenance. - Apply advancedknowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing bothindividual and department objectives. - Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other jobdisciplines within the organizations’ function. - Coach others todevelop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most orall areas within the function. - Lead by exampleand model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often atsenior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view. - Impact theachievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multiple-disciplineteams. - Work is guidedby functional policies which impact the design ofprocedures and policies. - Contribute tonew products, processes, standards, and/or operational plansin support of achieving functional goals. - Communicatedifficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence. ### What You’llNeed - High SchoolDiploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.In lieu of a + diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. - Meet thephysical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing + stairs/ladders,and the ability to li?/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. ormore. - Willingness totake a new perspective on existing Solutions - In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc. - Organizationalskills with an advanced inquisitee mindset. - Sophisticatedmath skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages,fractions, and other financial-related calculations. - Ability toimpact a range of customer, operations, project,or service activities within own team and other relatedteams. - Capability towork within broad guidelines and policies. - Proficiency incoaching others and sharing in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledgeof several job disciplines within the function. - Skill inleading by example and modeling behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISEvalues. - Ability to buildconsensus and convince others to reach an agreement. ### CollectiveBargaining Agreement The pay range for this position is subject to anapplicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the UnionLead Engineer position is $55.00 per hour. The minimum salary for the Union Lead Engineer position is $50.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Union Lead Engineer position is $55.00 per hour.
