This job is part of the Supply Chain function. They areresponsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the organization’s supplychain. Some overtime may be required. ### What You’ll Do - Assist with loading and unloading merchandise or material from cars or trucks. - Help pack and unpack shipments. This includes processing, scanning, and shelving parts, pulling orders, and entering data into the inventory control systems. - Maintain clean and safe working environments. Sweep and mop floors. - Assist with general maintenance including light painting, carpentry, and basic repairs of tools. - Maintain upkeep of stockroom and other storage areas and merge existing stock to improve space usage. - Perform labeling of materials under required procedures. - Audit warehouse inventory reports using physical checks to ensure accurate system accounting. - Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. - Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail - Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. ### What You’ll Need - High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. May require equipment certification for forklifts, aerial lifts, and power pallet jacks. - Physical requirements to include stooping, standing, climbing, and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs. - Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. - Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. - Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. - Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
