Starting pay is $21.00/hour + $1.00 shift premium. ### Job Description Accurately maintain all required waste treatment and plating records - Notify proper person to replenish and inventory of chemicals for supplies for rack and barrel and plating lines - Make necessary analysis, make necessary dumps and additions to plating lines, do daily testing of plating fluids, troubleshoot all plating and water treatment problems as they arise - Monitor all controls on plating lines, do daily checklist and environmental checks, and check for deterioration of tanks, valves, racks and barrels - Perform start up and shut down of equipment and plating systems - Operate barrel line and/or stripping line as time allows Wear PPE as required - Perform general and preventative maintenance on equipment as required - Ensure that all government standards and regulations are met - Keep work area, equipment, machines and storage areas clean at all times - Offer suggestions relative to improving work process, procedures, productivity, job safety, or quality of work environment - Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager or other designated person Notify Team Lead, Manager, Safety Manager or Environment Manager immediately in the event of a chemical spill or waste treatment upset - Perform necessary computer transactions in various computer applications and software programs - Work safely at all times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices Qualifications Requires the use of shop math together with the use of complicated specifications, charts and tables Prefer training applicable in specialized field, equivalent to a 1-3 year's technical training Requires the ability to work independently, using considerable judgment to make broad decisions and with a minimum of supervision Competencies: Safety Focus - Demonstrates a commitment to working safely, following procedures, identifying potential hazards and contributing to a safe work environment. ### Responsibility & Dependability - Takes ownership of assigned work, follows through on commitments, maintains attendance standards, and consistently delivers quality results. ### Teamwork & Collaboration - Works effectively with others, communicates respectfully, supports team goals, and contributes to a positive and productive work environment. ### Functional Expertise & Continuous Learning - Learns and applies job-related knowledge, follows established processes, solves routine work challenges, and adapts to new tools, equipment, and procedures.
