Continuously Evolve. Architect Tomorrow. We are seeking a talented Java Full Stack Developer to help deliver scalable, business-critical solutions for Broker Dealer and Capital Markets clients. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering client outcomes. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to build modern, secure, and resilient applications while contributing to a future-ready, AI-fluent engineering culture that drives meaningful business value. ### Hybrid working The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. ### Key Responsibilities Design develop test and deploy full stack applications using JavaMust to have UK Broker dealer and capital market experienceBuild robust RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume low latency systemsCollaborate with product owners business analysts architects and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutionsDevelop responsive reusable UI components and integrate them with backend servicesParticipate in architecture code reviews and technical design discussionsOptimize application performance reliability and scalabilityImplement best practices for security data protection and compliance in financial systemsCreate and maintain technical documentation for code APIs and deployment processesTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution in collaboration with support teamsContribute to CICD pipelines and DevOps automation practices Must-Have SkillsStrong Handson experience in Java 81117andSpring Boot Kafka Spring MVC Spring SecurityStrong in Python work experienceSolid experience with REST Apis Microservices Architecture and messaging systems Kafka RabbitMQProficiency in frontend technologies Angular React JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3Experience with relational databases such as Oracle SQL Server or PostgreSQLGood understanding of ORM frameworks like Hibernate JPAFamiliarity with build and dependency tools Maven GradleExperience with version control systems such as GitStrong knowledge of software design principles data structures and multithreading concurrencyExcellent analytical problem solving and communication skills Good-to-Have Skills: Experience in financial services investment banking or capital marketsExposure to cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and containerization Docker KubernetesKnowledge of caching and performance tools Redis Elastic profiling toolsFamiliarity with CICD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions or similarExperience with automated testing frameworks JUnit Mockito Cypress SeleniumUnderstanding of secure coding and regulatory compliance requirements in banking environments We are a Disability Confident Employer: Capgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.
