Your roleSenior VDI Engineer role is ideal for experienced professionals who want to expand their design and consulting capabilities and move into an Architect position.As a Senior Engineer you bring strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale virtual desktop solutions.

You will join a team of experienced Architects and Engineers working in a project environment. You will translate solution designs into reliable technical implementations. Depending on project needs, you may contribute to cloud and VDI transformations, platform migrations, capacity extensions, disaster recovery solutions, or service optimization initiatives.Your projectSome technical scenarios you may work with include: Citrix

Cloud with Azure Virtual Desktop, where Azure provides the resource layer and Citrix Cloud provides the access and control layersCitrix on-premises extended to Azure Virtual Desktop for additional capacityCloud-native Azure Virtual Desktop implementationsCitrix on-premises with Azure providing burst capacity or disaster recovery capabilitiesCitrix Cloud as the access and control layer, with resource layers hosted on-premises or across multiple cloud providers, including

Azure, AWS, and GCPYour tasksImplement and configure enterprise-scale VDI solutions based on Citrix and Azure Virtual DesktopBuild and configure Citrix Cloud, Citrix on-premises, and Azure Virtual Desktop environmentsExecute migration activities, including technical preparation, testing, deployment, validation, and troubleshootingConfigure and maintain access, control, and resource layer componentsImplement image management, application delivery, profile management, policies, and user environment configurationsSupport capacity expansion, disaster recovery, resilience, and performance optimization scenariosDevelop automation for deployment, configuration, maintenance, and operational activitiesContribute to low-level designs, build documentation, implementation procedures, and operational handover materialsProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other engineersYour profile6+ years experience in ITStrong hands-on expertise in

Citrix technologies, either on-premises or Citrix CloudExperience with Azure Virtual Desktop, or a willingness to develop expertise in this areaAutomation and scripting skills, preferably using PowerShell and TerraformExperience working with Azure is a plusExperience creating technical documentation, including low-level designs, build guidesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issuesGood communication skills and confidence in working with technical teams, stakeholdersFluent English, both spoken and written.
