You don’t need to know everything yet, we’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong customer service skills.In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, so being approachable, patient, and a great communicator is just as important as your technical interest. If you enjoy solving problems, working with others, and making someone’s day easier, you’ll fit right in.Basic familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Apple devices, or common hardware (like laptops and printers) is helpful but your mindset and enthusiasm matter most. The apprenticeship with Baltic is a 18-month course in which you will study part time alongside your full-time role. This role is based in our Telford office, so you’ll need to live within a commutable distance and be happy working on-site 5 days a week. Your Role As part of our Service Desk team, you’ll: Be the friendly face and voice of IT support, helping colleagues resolve their technical issuesDeliver excellent customer service, ensuring every interaction is helpful, clear, and professionalIdentify and troubleshoot faults, resolving incidents and requests within agreed timeframes (SLA targets)Support mobile technology such as phones and laptopsInstall and configure software and hardwareSet up and configure PCs, laptops, and MacBooksHelp with IT stores and equipment when neededSupport internal events with IT setup and assistanceCreate and update simple support guides and documentationWork on the Tech Table or Virtual Tech Table (once trained), directly assisting users with their queriesOccasionally visit nearby sites to provide hands-on IT support To be eligible, you need: We are a Disability Confident Employer Capgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.As part of our commitment to inclusive recruitment, we will offer an interview to all candidates who: Declare they have a disability, andMeet the minimum essential criteria for the role.
