### Location

This role is remote based in CanadaAbout the job you’re considering: We are seeking a Senior Network Platform Engineer with 5-10+ years of experience to design, build, and operate large-scale cloud-native networking platforms on AWS. This role will focus on Kubernetes networking, Infrastructure as Code, platform reliability, performance optimization, and automation while supporting highly scalable and secure production environments.

### Your role

Design, implement, and manage AWS networking solutions including VPCs, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and DNS Firewalls.Configure, operate, and scale Kubernetes clusters with a focus on networking, performance, security, and reliability.Implement and optimize Cilium, Container Network Interfaces (CNIs), Egress Gateway, and Kubernetes Network Policies.Develop reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning using

Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.Perform performance testing, troubleshooting, and tuning of Kubernetes and cloud networking components.Build and enhance platform observability solutions, monitoring, and alerting capabilities to support operational excellence.Must have skills:5-10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Network Engineering roles.Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, cluster operations, and

Kubernetes networking.Deep expertise in AWS networking services, including VPCs, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, and related cloud networking technologies.Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure deployments.Strong knowledge of Cilium, Kubernetes Network Policies, CNIs, network security, and cloud-native networking architectures.Experience troubleshooting complex networking, connectivity, performance, and reliability issues across

Kubernetes and AWS environments.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD 72,056 - CAD 138,940Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
