Where no two days are the same.YOUR ROLEIn this role you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining AIX operating system environments for external market clients.Providing day-to-day administration and support of AIX operating systems within a corporate client environment, ensuring high availability and performanceDiagnosing and resolving technical incidents and service requests related to AIX infrastructure, following ITIL best practices and agreed SLAsMonitoring system health, performing routine maintenance tasks, and implementing patches and updates to ensure stability and securityCollaborating closely with client teams and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective infrastructure solutionsContributing to the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation, while optionally leveraging Linux knowledge to broaden the scope of support providedYOUR PROFILEA minimum of 5 years of proven experience in AIX system administration within a corporate environment in PortugalSolid technical knowledge of AIX operating systems, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshootingExperience working in client-facing support roles, with a strong sense of accountability and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural and international teamsKnowledge of Linux systems is a valued asset, demonstrating a broader understanding of Unix-based environmentsWHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HEREJoin a multicultural and inclusive team environmentEnjoy a supportive atmosphere promoting work‑life balanceHybrid workYour career growth is central to our mission.
