As part of this journey, you’ll contribute to the launch of a new Tech Hub in Porto, helping to drive innovative, technology-led solutions that are transforming how businesses move while contributing to a more sustainable future.YOUR ROLEOwn the end-to-end deployment, operation and lifecycle management of ML and AI solutions in production.Design and maintain CI/CD, continuous training, model serving, monitoring, retraining and rollback processes.Transform data science prototypes into scalable, production-grade services and APIs.Integrate ML and AI models into operational business systems while ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.Build and manage feature pipelines, model registries and reusable MLOps frameworks.Implement model, data and prediction drift monitoring, alerting and incident management processes.Drive deployment strategies including shadow, canary and champion-challenger releases.Support production LLM and agent-based solutions through evaluation pipelines, tracing, versioning and guardrails.Manage AI workload costs, latency and platform dependencies.Define engineering standards, perform code reviews and mentor ML Engineers and Data Scientists on production best practices.YOUR PROFILE5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering or MLOps, including 2+ years deploying and operating ML models in production.Strong experience building production-ready machine learning platforms and services.Production-quality Python, including testing, packaging, API design and code review.Proven track record integrating ML models into business-critical operational systems.Solid understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including governance, monitoring, retraining and incident management.Strong collaboration skills across Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Product and Platform teams.Experience working with production environments requiring high availability, performance and scalability.Knowledge of AI governance, model traceability and production controls.Exposure to real-time decisioning, fintech, fraud or credit-risk environments is a plus.Experience supporting LLM-based and Generative AI applications in production environments is highly valued.WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HEREAt Capgemini Portugal we have a flexible and dynamic work environment.
