HANA Cloud Senior Performance Engineer SAP HANA is an in-memory database and data management platform. SAP HANA Cloud is the database as a service (DBaaS) offering based on SAP HANA. We run on Intel x86 and aarch64 platform. There is a long-standing relationship with an Intel on-site engineering team. We are looking for talented individuals that help with

Intel x86 specific optimizations. Your role:§ Explorative performance and root cause analysis in the context of SAP HANA database§ Assist in finding Intel x86 specific optimization potentialCompare performance results between platforms§ Do PoC code changes§ Build and extend analysis toolsCollaborate with Intel on-site teamYour Profile: Required skills: Ability to analyze and debug complex problemsGood knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software designExcellent knowledge of

Intel x86 architecture specificsTrack record of using profiling tools like perf and vtune in the analysis of performance issuesGood C++ skillsVerbal and written working proficiency in EnglishPreferred skills: Knowledge of RDBMSExperience with aarch64 platformPython programming experience
