[Apply on Caesars Entertainment’s careers site →](https://edmn.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1/job/88005) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Caesars Entertainment](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/caesars-entertainment/) / Cage Cashier I-Swing-Silver Legacy (Reno) ## Job description Responsible for the redemption and sale of table game chips, marketing redemptions, ticket in-ticket out redemptions and other cash transactions. ## Responsibilities Responsible for various cash transactions and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift - Keeps cash drawer balanced, impressed, and ensures all casino funds are secured when not in use - Verifies and documents personal identification information for checks and cash advance transactions Complies with all company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance Exemplifies our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplifies our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture - Performs other job-related duties as assigned ## Qualifications ### Previous cashier or banking experience preferred - Must be able to obtain a valid state gaming license - Ability to communicate all events, promotional activities and facilities available to guest Always maintain a fun and friendly attitude and provide for a safe and clean work environment - High School diploma or equivalent ### ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity Work area is subject to variable temperatures May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) ### STANDARDS Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service. ### PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills.
