Responsible for greeting and seating guest in assigned dining area. Provides assistance to both guests and team members when necessary. Greets guests upon their arrival and escorts guest party to appropriate table in dining area. Maintains order and cleanliness in dining room. Reports all complaints to management on duty. Ensures that schedules food servers and bus persons are present, chairs and tables are properly positioned and station groupings are assigned to each station. Distributes checks and handles comps, food coupons, and Player cards. Ensures proper check and cash control procedures are carried out. Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest’s wins. Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service. Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist. Promotes Caesars Rewards programs and card membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Completes special assignments for management as requested. ## Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum one year Hostess experience at a fine dining restaurant preferred. Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job. Consistently displays extraordinary service with an upbeat and positive attitude. Some knowledge of food service. Previous experience of at least one year in a high-volume, fine dining establishment is preferred. ### Additional Requirements Loud, fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Ability to stand for 8 hours. Normal vision and hearing range Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume in a timely manner. Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required Ability to move throughout the outlet (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time. Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists. Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear. Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders. Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
