Our team works around the clock including nights, weekends, and holidays to keep the property safe through walking and driving patrols, responding to incidents, escorting money transfers, securing drop boxes, and enforcing Missouri Gaming Commission regulations, including checking IDs to ensure all guests entering gaming areas are 21 or older. You’ll interact professionally with guests, complete accurate reports, and support a secure, welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication and problem solving skills, basic math ability, quick response to visual and auditory cues, and comfort working in a fast ‑ paced environment. ## Responsibilities Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in full, clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a heads ‑ up, ready ‑ to ‑ serve mentality. Greets all guests and fellow team members warmly and professionally, in line with our Family Style Service culture. Maintain guest and employee safety by identifying hazards, conducting walking and driving patrols, monitoring the facility, and responding to incidents promptly. Protect Harrah’s Kansas City property and assets while enforcing Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and internal controls, including verifying guest identification to ensure all guests are at least 21 years of age (e.g., checking IDs at entrances or during guest interactions). Complete accurate, confidential, detailed security incident reports and promptly report improper, illegal, or suspected illegal activity to Security Supervisors. Collaborate effectively with the security team to maintain comprehensive facility security across all assigned shifts. Escort internal and external money transfers—including gaming chips, tokens, and cash valued at $500+—between the casino, support facilities, and other designated secure areas. Collect, transport, and secure drop boxes, and assist Main Bankers by moving locked NRT carts during machine replenishment. Deescalate problem situations using professional tone and manner in challenging situations.
