The Pharmacy Coordinator answers incoming phone calls and directs calls to the appropriate person. This role is responsible for greeting all visitors, directing visitors to the appropriate person or location and assisting with miscellaneous clerical duties. ### Shift Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm - Competitive Pay - Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance - Company-Paid Short & Long-Term Disability - Flexible Schedules & Paid Time Off - Tuition Reimbursement - Employee Discount Program & DailyPay - 401k - Pet Insurance Responsibilities Communicates effectively across pharmacy and/or corporate teams and with patients, and successfully resolves issues Tracking all pharmacy documentation and entering into EMR system as necessary Answers incoming calls Takes messages and transfers callers to the designated party when applicable Greets guests Handles incoming mail Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. 1+ years pharmacy or other healthcare-related experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of management and staff, vast knowledge of pharmacy terminology and process. Ability to multitask in a demanding environment. Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness. Working Conditions Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage To perform this role will require constant sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occaasionally standing, and walking.
