- Assess all new admissions, determining appropriateness for Registered Nurse delegation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
- Ensure thorough and timely documentation of all care provided throughout the nursing department
- Ensure thorough assessment of patients and completion of necessary follow up as applicable
- Ensure thorough monitoring of patients
- Provide supervision, support, guidance, and development of staff members
- Ensure adherence to administrative processes within the nursing department Other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, stakeholders, and team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
