## Job description

### Mechanical Engineer, Mid The Opportunity

Support the development, operation, maintenance, and testing of DoD munition systems and other complex technology systems. Assist in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of mechanical and electro‑mechanical components and subsystems. Apply foundational engineering principles to perform analyses, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to portions of design or test efforts under the guidance of senior engineers.

Participate in project tasks, investigate straightforward product or process issues, and support test execution and reporting. Join us. The world can't wait.

### You Have
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering including internships or academic projects Experience with software engineering tools such as CREO, Pro/E, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or ANSYS Ability to perform basic engineering analysis on systems or components with guidance
- Ability to support the development and execution of test plans and document results
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Nice If You Have: Experience fabricating or assembling components using shop tools or additive manufacturing processes Experience working in a multidisciplinary or complex team environment Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills Secret clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
